In 2014, Spine Nevada announced a partnership with the High Fives Foundation to provide support and bring awareness for athletes injured during winter action sports. Dr. Lynch is a board member and medical director for High Fives. He also serves on the grant selection committee. Founded by Roy Tuscany in 2010, the Tahoe based organization is dedicated to raising money and awareness for athletes that have suffered a life-altering injury while pursuing their dream in the winter action sports community. High Fives Foundation has been selected by Powder Magazine as the Non-profit Group of Year for two consecutive years.

The Boys and Girls Club of Truckee Meadows includes nearly 130
different programs, events and activities to meet the diverse needs and
interests of our children members ages 0-18 in the Truckee Meadows.

Ronald McDonald House Charities Northern Nevada supports families of seriously ill children by creating a community of comfort and hope. While RMHC may not be able to make medicine taste better or erase the pain of a much-needed treatment, the efforts help ease the financial and emotional burden for families.

Dr. Lynch is the president of ThinkFirst Reno-Tahoe.
ThinkFirst of Reno-Tahoe was established in 2010. Each year, an estimated 1.7 million persons in the United States sustain a brain injury, and 12,000 - 20,000 sustain a spinal cord injury. In fact, injury is the leading cause of death among children and teens. The ThinkFirst National Injury Prevention Foundation's award-winning, evidence-based programs are aimed at helping people learn to reduce their risk for injury.
