SpineNevada's physical therapist Thais Mollet, PT, DPT is in Rio with the USA Track Cycling Team for the 2016 Olympics this summer. She is helping the Track Cycling Olympic athletes stay in top form and injury free.

Thais is excited about the Rio experience and enjoys the opportunity to provide therapy and support as the olympic athletes compete. Team pursuit qualifications take place on August 11. Earlier in 2016, Thais Mollet, PT, DPT traveled to the London UCI Track World Championships. She has helped treat team members leading up to the championships and Olympic games. The competition in 2016 was the first time in American history, male or female, that USA team pursuit secured the World Champion status.

Throughout her career, Thais has enjoyed a range of professional experiences from working with professional athletes at the Xgames in Aspen, Colorado, to working with the US Paralympic Cycling Team as the team physical therapist during the World Cup and the World Championships. She treated the athletes and prepared them for their international competition. She also completed a two week affiliation in the Sports Medicine Department at the Olympic Training Center in Lake Placid, NY. During her time there, she treated Olympic athletes from US bobsled, skeleton, luge, aerial skiing and ice hockey teams.
