ABOUT YOUR INITIAL APPOINTMENT

For your initial appointment at SpineNevada, please arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled appointment. This will allow us sufficient time to complete all of the necessary paperwork.

REFERRALS & MANAGED CARE PLANS

Some health plans have specific rules you must follow in order to be seen by a specialist. We understand that your health insurance company may require authorization from a primary care physician prior to visiting a specialist. As a service to our patients, SpineNevada will check with your insurance company and work with you in order to obtain authorization and documentation as necessary.

IF YOU NEED TO CANCEL, BE CONSIDERATE OF OTHERS

As a regional center of excellence, there can be a several-day wait to see one of our physicians. Consequently, if you have to cancel an appointment, please call us as soon as possible, preferably at least 48 hours before your scheduled appointment. This enables another patient, who may be in pain, to have your time slot.

ABOUT HEALTH INSURANCE

SpineNevada accepts most insurance plans. The following is a list of Insurance providers that we are contracted with. You need to contact your insurance provider to verify your coverage. If you do not see your insurance provider listed below, please call our office at 775.348.8800 to find out if your plan is accepted. If your health insurance plan requires you to pay a “co-pay” amount, you will be expected to pay that amount when you visit the doctor.
