11-01-2017 - (November 1, 2017) RENO, NV - SpineNevada Minimally Invasive Spine Institute, a center of excellence for spine and musculoskeletal treatment in Northern Nevada, is pleased to announce the recognition by Modern Healthcare to the national listing of Best Places to Work in 2017. The center was ranked #2 overall in the providers and insurers category presented by Modern Healthcare. SpineNevada garnered the top, #1, private practice spot on this year's Best Places to Work list among providers and insurers. This is the center's 3rd consecutive year on the list.
“We recognize the correlation between high employee engagement ratings and high patient satisfaction scores,” Dr. Lynch explains. “We got into healthcare to help people and we're dedicated to improving the lives of others— this includes both our patients and our staff,” said SpineNevada Founder and CEO James J. Lynch, MD. “The healthcare industry has undergone dramatic changes in the last decade and we anticipate more disruption ahead. We believe that efficient care delivery is the impetus for high quality spine and musculoskeletal treatment in a more cost effective manner. Through the multiple specialties and capabilities (non-surgical spine & MSK physicians, neurosurgeons, radiology, physical therapy, injection therapy, MRI, X-Ray) offered within our center, we strive to improve care coordination for our patients.”
For ten years, Modern Healthcare’s Best Places to Work in Healthcare recognition program has cast a spotlight on companies within the healthcare industry that cultivate a positive work environment. “Congratulations to our entire staff, this recognition isn't possible without the daily contributions of each of you bring to the organization,” exclaims Dr. Lynch. In addition to this Best Places to Work honor from Modern Healthcare, SpineNevada has earned a number of other workplace awards including Becker’s Healthcare “150 Great Places to Work in Healthcare” for 2 years and the 1st place honor in the 2017 Quantum Workplace Best Places to Work in Northern Nevada recognition.
In other recent news, SpineNevada is excited to announce the opening of a new facility in South Reno. In additional to medical office services, the new office features our 2nd InMotion Open and Weight-bearing MRI. The new office located at 825 South Meadows Parkway, Reno, Nevada 89521 is located in a free standing building shared with South Meadows Dental. The InMotion MRI table actually rotates from the horizontal position to a vertical position which allows pictures to be taken while the body is in a weight bearing state. This potentially demonstrates a disc herniation, “pinched” nerve or fracture that might otherwise not be seen with the usual MRI performed only in the supine position. In addition to MRI, SpineNevada’s InMotion Diagnostics includes Open InMotion MRI (the weight-bearing and tiltable Esaote Brio), Digital X-rays and full body scoliosis imaging. “With our comprehensive center, we are redefining spine care by offering more services — including diagnostics, radiology, physical therapy, injection therapy — under one roof. This saves patients time and speeds feedback to referring primary care providers,” Dr. Lynch explained.
With office locations in Reno, Sparks and Carson City, SpineNevada is a regional center of excellence offering a comprehensive approach to spine and musculoskeletal care. The center includes fellowship-trained neurological surgeons; board-certified physical medicine doctors with fellowship-training in spine and sports medicine; along with specialty-trained physical therapists, physical therapy clinics, injection suites and InMotion Diagnostics. These musculoskeletal experts take a conservative first approach and combine their expertise to develop the most appropriate treatment for each individual patient.
Founded by Dr. Lynch in 2004, SpineNevada’s goal is to be recognized as a regional center of excellence that demonstrates innovation in nonsurgical spine and joint care and surgical spine care, and then documents its superior care with clinical outcomes. The center’s mission is to help its patients return to active lives, through compassionate, evidence-based spine and musculoskeletal care, including non-surgical treatment options and the most technologically advanced minimally invasive surgical spine techniques.
